The purpose for this movie: slumdog millionaire is to show the audience what kids are going
through in mumbai,an asian country. The director of this movie Danny Boyle wants to show his
observers that you do learn from your experiences weather they'er good or bad. He also shows
that there is a lot of poverty in asian countries where schooling, working and just growing up
can be very difficult,expecially when one is an orphan. This movie could go under the
context of religion ,culture, poverty,hardship,and orphanage. My response, to this movie, would be very sad but also happy. It is sad how the kid lost his parents, were brought to a fake orphanage, one of the brother was going to be blinded to become a blinded singer to collect more money, how they escape, about how his brother betrayed him by sleeping with the girl that the other brother liked, leaving everything behind and starting somewhere else, finding his brother and asking for forgiveness, then finally finding his girl and being happy. This movie explains alot of the life of Mumbai slumdogs.
